Friday Morning Madness

So, this morning in my usual chaotic attempt to get the kids out of bed, washed, teeth brushed, dressed and down for breakfast, I was stopped in my tracks when my 5 yr. old complained that he couldn’t brush his teeth.

“Why baby?”

“Because the batteries in my toothbrush are dead!”

Hi Lisa,

Thanks for stopping by my blog and inviting me over to yours. I enjoyed reading your posts very much and look forward to reading more. You have a lovely writing style. We have a lot in common, too. Besides being born in Philly, I also shudder at the what is happening to little girls these days, being forced to grow up faster than they should. I miss the more innocent days when I was a child and there were no cell phones, girls didn't wear make-up and half-shirts. As the mother of two young girls, I am passionate about keeping them as young as I can for as long as I can! We are also raising our girls to be bilingual - Spanish is spoken (starting to be, anyhow) in this household as well. My husband and I are both travelers, we've been all around the world and back and hope to do the same with our girls, teaching them that we are not the only ones that exist. So many different cultures and languages and traditions. Thankfully, the world seems to be getting smaller. Anyway, your statement on your "about me" really spoke to me in that regard. Sorry for the rambling comment, I just really enjoy reading about other women / mothers and their lives, I think it's wonderful in this day and age to be able to connect with women all over! Thanks again and keep writing...
